Download the Windows Server installation media.
You can download the Evaluation version from: https://www.microsoft.com/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2022
Mount the iso file onto your virtual machine or burn the iso file to a USB/DVD drive and connect to the server.
Boot into the installation media.
Select the required language, time and currency format, and keyboard or unput method, and press next.
Select the required version of the operating system you want to install and press next.
Tick the box to agree to the licence terms and then press next.
Select custom install.
Select all of the drives and then press delete to clear all the data.
Select the drive you want to install the operating system on to and press next.
The installation will automatically start. During the installation, the server will reboot multiple times.
Once the installation has finished, at the customise settings page, enter an administrator password and press finish.
At the next login page, enter the administrator password you have just set.
